Hon.(Mrs.) Pavithradevi Wanniarachchi,— To ask the Minister of Disaster Management,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the number of families who have been advised to evict their homes owing to the risk of floods and landslides that prevailed in the Ratnapua District from 26 May to 05 June 2017, separately in respect of each Divisional Secretariat Division?
(ii) whether a programme has been drawn up to provide alternative lands or constructed houses for the relevant householders?
(iii) If so, the extent of land to be given to each person and the compensation to be paid for the construction of a house?
(b) If not, why?
