Hon. Douglas Devananda,—To ask the Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development ,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether there is a housing scheme for Sri Lankan fishermen with the assistance of the Korean National Fisheries Solidarity Federation;
(ii) whether that housing scheme is implemented throughout the Island;
(iii) whether houses would be constructed for the fishermen in the Northern and Eastern Provinces of the country who were severely affected by the war as well as natural disasters, under this scheme;
(iv) if so, the number of houses that would be constructed, the areas and the dates of construction?
(b) If not, why?

(අ) (i) මේ සම්බන්ධව මෙම අමාත්යාංශයේ මැදිහත්වීමක් සිදු නොවන අතර, ධීවර හා ජලජ සම්පත් සංවර්ධන රාජ්ය අමාත්යතුමන්ගේ කොරියානු සංචාරයේදී සිදු කරන ලද සාකච්ඡාවක ප්රතිඵලයක් ලෙස කොරියානු ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා සම්මේලනය මඟින් රාජ්ය අමාත්යතුමා වෙනුවෙන් කරන ලද ප්රදානයක් වන අතර, මෙය අම්බලන්තොට ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාසයේ බටඅත දකුණ ග්රාම නිලධාරි වසම සඳහා පමණක් ක්රියාත්මක වන්නකි.
(ii) නැත.
(iii) නැත.
(iv) කොරියානු ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා සම්මේලනයේ සහය ඇතිව අම්බලන්තොට ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාසයේ බටඅත දකුණ ග්රාම නිලධාරි වසමේ නිවාස ඒකක 25කින් සමන්විත ව්යාපෘතියක් ක්රියාත්මක කර ඇති අතර, දැනට එයින් සියයට 80ක වැඩ අවසන් වී ඇත.
(ආ) මෙම අමාත්යාංශයේ වැඩසටහනක් නොවන හෙයින්, අදාළ නැත.
