Hon. (Al-Haj) A.H.M. Azwer,— To ask the Minister of Environment,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether there is a mechanism to assess the quantitative and qualitative data with regard to hazardous wastes produced in factories operating in the country ;
(ii) if so, what it is ; and
(iii) whether there is a method of disposing such hazardous wastes in an environmentally friendly manner?
(b) Will he state—
(i) whether the parties involved are required to fill in a declaration form pertaining to transportation when hazardous wastes is transported; and
(ii) if so, the purpose of it?
(c) If not, why?
