Hon. (Al-Haj) A.H.M. Azwer,— To ask the Minister of Transport,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of unguarded level crossing at present ; and
(ii) the number of level crossings guarded with gates made of bamboo?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of accidents reported in year 2009 which occurred due to unguarded level crossings ;
(ii) of the number of lives lost in those accidents ; and
(iii) whether there is a proposal accelerated programme to construct guarded level crossings?
(c) If not, why?
