Hon. Ashoka Priyantha, —To ask the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation,—
(a) Is he aware that —
(i) not a single SLTB bus service operates from Nattandiya to Colombo via Marawila; and
(ii) a large number of people living along the road from Nattandiya to Marawila travel daily to Wennappuwa, Negombo, Katunayake, Ja-ela and Colombo for employment?
(b) Will he inform this House whether measures will be taken to operate an SLTB bus from Nattandiya to Colombo via Marawila in the morning and an SLTB bus from Colombo to Nattandiya via Marawila in the evening?
(c) If not, why?
