Hon. Udaya Prabhath Gammanpila,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the former President Mrs. Chandrika Kumaratunga holds any position in the present government;
(ii) whether she has been vested with any responsibility relating to reconciliation;
(iii) whether she has been provided with transport facilities by helicopters at government expense; and
(iv) the number of vehicles, security officers and other facilities accorded to her?
(b) If not, why?

(අ) (i) ඔව්.
(ii) හිටපු ජනාධිපතිනි චන්ද්රිකා කුමාරතුංග මැතිනිය අමාත්ය මණ්ඩල අනුමැතිය ඇතිව අතිගරු ජනාධිපතිතුමා විසින් ජාතික සමඟිය හා සංහිඳියා පිළිබඳ කාර්යාංශයේ සභාපතිනිය ලෙස පත්වීමක් ලබා කිසිදු වැටුපක් හෝ දීමනාවක් නොලබා සේවය කරයි.
(iii) එතුමියට රජයේ වියදමින් අවස්ථා දෙකකදී රාජකාරි ගමන් සඳහා හෙලිකොප්ටර් ප්රවාහන පහසුකම් ලබා දී ඇත.
(iv) ඔව්. එතුමියගේ ආරක්ෂාව සඳහා වාහන හා ආරක්ෂකයින් ලබා දී තිබෙනවා. හිටපු ජනාධිපතිවරුන් දෙදෙනාටම අපි ඒ වාගේ ලබා දී තිබෙනවා.
එතුමියගේ ආරක්ෂක අංශයට සහ එතුමියගේ ප්රයෝජනය සඳහා වාහන 06ක් ලබා දී ඇති අතර, ආරක්ෂකයින් 59 දෙනෙකුගේ සේවය ද ලබා දී ඇත.
