Hon. (Prof.) Ashu Marasinghe,— To ask the Minister of Power and Renewable Energy,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of objectives the Indo-Sri Lanka Marine Electric Cable Line Project is expected to achieve; and
(ii) whether it is possible to complete the Project in the year 2020?
(b) Will he also inform this House of—
(i) the estimated total amount;
(ii) the expenditure that will be borne by the Government of Sri Lanka; and
(iii) the amount, if the Government of India will make a financial investment;
in respect of the Project?
(c) If not, why?
