Hon. Chandima Gamage,— To ask the Minister of Power and Renewable Energy,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the progress of the project relating to the using of nuclear power to generate electricity;
(ii) whether Sri Lanka has the ability to observe the functioning of the nuclear power plants, which have been located in India close to Sri Lanka; and
(iii) if the functioning of those power plants cannot be observed, the reasons for that?
(b) If not, why?
