Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) with respect to Badulla district, of the total number of employees served for Sri Lanka Transport Board and got retired since year 2010, to date;
(ii) whether he is aware of the fact that a majority out of aforesaid employees haven’t been provided with Employees’ Provident Funds and the gratuity that they are entitled to yet;
(iii) whether speedy measures will be taken to provide aforesaid employees with the allowances concerned, as their families have been strained, extremely?
(b) If not, why?
