0342/’10 Hon. Gamini Jayawickrama Perera,—To ask the Minister of Finance and Planning,— Will he state— the types of products that are exported from our country under the GSP+ concession ; the names of the countries to which the above mentioned products are exported ; the amount of tax concession granted when exporting those products ; the number of jobs that may be lost if this concession is withdrawn ; and the number of businesses that may affect as a result of the withdrawal of the above mentioned concession? Will he inform this House— of the steps that would be taken by the government for earning foreign exchange ; and of the amount of the loss that will be incurred when products are exported to the European countries which did not grant the GSP+ concession? If not, why?
