Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,—To ask the Minister of Home Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Panampattu area in the Ampara District where the Vanni Sinhala People live; and
(ii) the number of people living in those areas as of today?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether the government has guaranteed the fulfilling of fundamental needs of these people such as education, higher education and health;
(ii) if so, how?
(iii) whether the government has extended patronage for these people to preserve their cultural identity and traditional heritage; and
(iv) if so, what they are?
(d) if not why?
