Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the provincial roads developed up to now by the Present Chief Minister of the Uva Province since assuming power;
(ii) separately, the expenditure incurred on each such road;
(iii) the companies which were awarded contracts for developing the roads concerned;
(iv) whether such contracts have been awarded in a transparent manner;
(v) whether any follow-up action has been taken on the condition of the roads concerned; and
(vi) the measures to be taken, if the roads do not meet the required standards?
(b) If not, why?
