Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House of—
(i) the qualifications required to be appointed as a President’s Counsel ;
(ii) the person or persons who have the authority to make such appointments ;
(iii) the number of President’s counsels that can be appointed during a period of one year ;
(iv) the name and the age of each of the President’s counsels who have been appointed from 1994 up to now?
(b) If not, why?
