Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Primary Industries,—
(a) Will he inform this House,—
(i) the quantity of coriander that was imported to Sri Lanka in the year 2015; and
(ii) the main countries from which Sri Lanka imports coriander?
(b) Will he also inform this House,—
(i) whether coriander is cultivated in Sri Lanka;
(ii) if so, the percentage of it out of the requirement of the country;
(iii) if coriander is not cultivated, the reason for it; and
(iv) the steps that will be taken by the government to expand coriander cultivation in Sri Lanka?
(c) If not, why?
