Hon. Bimal Rathnayake,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the government has granted permission for a Special Indian Economic or Industrial Zone linked to the Trincomalee Harbour in the Trincomalee district;
(ii) if so, whether he will submit the Cabinet Paper or the documents containing observations that granted permission for same;
(iii) the preliminary conditions of the establishment of the said Special Indian Economic Zone and as to how it is managed; and
(iv) whether he submits a map of the land identified for the said Indian Economic Zone?
(b) If not, why?
