Hon. Shehan Semasinghe,— To ask the Minister of City Planning and Water Supply,—
(a) Will he state whether the Northern Water Supply Project that was implemented in Anuradhapura District is operative, now?
(b) Will he inform this House, if the project is operative—
(i) whether benefits of the projects will be given to the public within anticipated time period;
(ii) separately, of the Divisional Secretariat Divisions covered by the project;
(iii) separately, of the number of Grama Niladhari Divisions, coming under aforesaid Divisional Secretariat Divisions;
(iv) of the number of beneficiary families; and
(v) whether measures have been taken to expedite the project?
(c) If not, why?
