Hon. Lucky Jayawardana,— To ask the Minister of Industry and Commerce,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the total number of C.W.E. outlets in Sri Lanka; and
(ii) of those outlets, the number of outlets which are run in government buildings and the number of outlets which are run in rented buildings?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) of the amount of money spent annually by the C.W.E. to pay the rent of rented buildings;
(ii) separately of the locations of the rented buildings, their owners and the monthly rent paid to them; and
(iii) separately of the number of functioning and closed down C.W.E. outlets at those locations?
(c) Will he state—
(i) whether a formal methodology is followed in obtaining buildings on rent to run C.W.E. outlets; and
(ii) if so, what that methodology is?
(d) If not, why?
