Hon. Seyed Ali Zahir Moulana,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration and Management,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether he is aware of the fact that action was taken by the Divisional Secretary of Samanthurei to inform the Director General of the Department of Pensions regarding the disabled status of Mr. K. L. Fasly Nisar residing at No. 438, Podiyar Street, Ampara Road, Samanthurei through Letter No. DSS/FMG/PEN/DI/2013-2 dated 19.12.2013 by sending the Disabled Pensioners Application (Pension No.01-857916) and the relevant Health Report 307 (with the date 18.04.2006 which is the correct date of becoming disabled);
(ii) if so, whether action will be taken to provide his pension payment expeditiously;
(b) If not, why?
