Hon. Seyed Ali Zahir Moulana,— To ask the Minister of Higher Education and Highways,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) the private land bearing plot No. 101 of මූ.පි.ක. 2285 belonging to Mr. A.H.M.Haneefa and Mr. U.M.A.L. Salahudeen residing at No. 262/2, Kandy Road, Galhinna was acquired through the Gazette Notification No. 1306/37 dated 19.09.2003 with the implementation of the project to expand the main street of Kurunegala; and
(ii) compensation has not hitherto been paid on behalf of the aforesaid land transferred 10 years ago and the aforesaid business building which was demolished and removed?
(b) Will action be taken to provide compensation without any delay for the aforesaid land and the building which was demolished and removed?
(c) If not, why?
