Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Disaster Management,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) the number of persons who were displaced due to the flash floods that occurred recently;
(ii) the names of the districts affected by the floods and the number of people who were displaced in each of the aforesaid districts separately;
(iii) the number of houses damaged in each of the aforesaid districts separately;
(iv) the amount of money allocated for the displaced persons;
(v) the amount of money required to build their houses and the amount of money allocated for that purpose;
(vi) the number of houses that have been given to the displaced persons by now; and
(vii) whether steps will be taken to increase the number of such houses?
(b) If not, why?
