Hon. Imran Maharoof,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) separately, the names, addresses and grades in the teachers’ service of the persons who have been attached to the Teacher Resources Centre of the Kinniya Zonal Education office;
(ii) the Circular according to which those teachers were attached to that centre; and
(iii) the date on which applications were called for this and the date on which the interview was conducted?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether he is aware that these appointments have been made in contravention of the education circulars; and
(ii) whether arrangements will be made as early as possible to eliminate irregularities of this nature under good governance and appoint qualified persons to positions by calling for applications in the proper manner?
(c) If not, why?
