Hon. Kanaka Herath,— To ask the Minister of Higher Education and Highways,—
(a) Is he aware that —
(i) the road from Mawanella to Rambukkana is a ‘B’ grade road that is very old;
(ii) part of the aforesaid road has been laid with carpet and developed; and
(iii) the remainder of the road is in a dilapidated condition?
(b) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the extent which has been laid with carpets and developed in the aforesaid road;
(ii) whether steps will be taken to lay carpets and develop the remainder of the aforesaid road; and
(iii) if so, of the date on which it will be done?
(c) If not, why?
