Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Finance and Planning,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) whether the 2500-rupee pay-hike promised in the “Mahinda Chinthana - Vision for the Future 2010” will be granted;
(ii) if so, the amount estimated for it;
(iii) the number of public servants to whom this pay-hike is applicable;
(iv) the date on which this pay-hike will be granted, to the public servants;
(v) other concessions that will be granted to them?
(b) If not, why?
