Hon. T. Ranjith De Zoysa,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the total number of registered Pre-schools in each Provincial Council area in the country at present; and
(ii) of those Pre-schools, the number of Pre-schools with more than 50 children?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) of the total amount of money allocated to pay the allowance of Rs. 250/- to Pre-school teachers by the interim budget of February 2015;
(ii) the number of Pre-school teachers who are eligible to receive that allowance; and
(iii) whether that monthly allowance has been paid to those teachers?
(c) If not, why?
