Hon. T. Ranjith De Zoysa,— To ask the Minister of Higher Education and Highways,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the major road development projects implemented by the Road Development Authority in the year 2015; and
(ii) the projects implemented using local funds and the projects implemented using foreign funds out of the projects mentioned, separately?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether consultants have been recruited to monitor the relevant projects on project assignment basis;
(ii) if so, the number of aforesaid consultants;
(iii) the professional and educational qualifications that the aforesaid consultants should possess;
(iv) the monthly salary and other allowances paid to them, separately; and
(v) the total amount of money spent by the government annually to pay the aforesaid salaries and allowances;
(c) If not, why?
