Hon. (Mrs.) Rohini Kumari Wijerathna,— To ask the Minister of Hill Country New Villages, Infrastructure and Community Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether new lands have been identified for the resettlement of families residing in estates in Matale District where landslides occurred or which are landslide prone areas;
(ii) if so, of the areas where those lands are located;
(iii) of the measures taken by now for the families displaced as a result of landslides; and
(iv) of the measures taken by now for the families residing in landslide prone estates?
(b) If not, why?
