Hon. Jayantha Samaraweera,— To ask the Minister of Defence,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of camps that were being run in the Northern and Eastern Provinces by the three armed forces as at 19.05.2009;
(ii) out of the aforesaid camps, of the number of camps that were being run as at 31.12.2014;
(iii) separately of the names of such camps in terms of the force they belonged to namely, army, navy and air force;
(iv) out of the camps that were mentioned in (i) above, of the number of camps that were run with high security zones and the names of those camps; and
(v) separately of the extent of land that came under each of those high security zones that were run by the aforesaid camps:
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) of the number of camps that were being run in the Northern and Eastern Provinces by the three armed forces as at 30.10.2015;
(ii) separately of the names of such camps in terms of the force they belonged to namely, the army, navy and air force;
(iii) out of those camps, of the number of camps that were run with high security zones and the names of those camps; and
(iv) separately of the extent of land that came under each of those high security zones that were run by the aforesaid camps:
(c) If not, why?
