0316/2016: MONEY PROVIDED FOR ROAD DEVELOPMENT: CRITERIA

Hon. S. M. Marikkar,— To ask the Minister of Higher Education and Highways,—

(a) Will he inform this House,—

(i) whether the amount of 30 million rupees allocated by the 100 day project for the development of roads in every electorate will be provided as usual;

(ii) If not, the amount of money that will be provided within this year; and

(iii) whether the roads proposed under the amount of 30 million rupees will be allowed to be completed within the next year in case the aforesaid roads were not completed within this year?

(b) Will he also inform this House—

(i) whether money will be allocated by the Ministry of Highways for the development of byroads in the year 2016;

(ii) If so , the amount of money that will be allocated ;

(iii) the criteria taken into consideration in making the aforesaid allocation?

(අ) (i) ලැබුණු ප්‍රතිපාදන ප්‍රමාණය නියමිත ක්‍රියා පටිපා‍ටියට අනුව ඉදිරිපත් වූ ව්‍යාපෘති යෝජනා අනුව ඒ ඒ මැතිවරණ කොට්ඨාසවලට වෙන් කරන ලදි.

(ii) 2016 වසර සඳහා රුපියල් මිලියන 1,000ක ප්‍රතිපාදනයක් ජාතික අය වැය මගින් වෙන්කොට ඇති අතර, එම මුදල සමානුපාතිකව මැතිවරණ කොට්ඨාස තුළ මාර්ග සංවර්ධන කටයුතු සඳහා යෙදවීමට සැලසුම් කර ඇත.

(iii) 2016 වසරේ ක්‍රියාත්මක කළ ශූන්‍ය පාදක අය වැය ප්‍රතිපත්තිය මත එවැන්නකට ඉඩප්‍රස්ථා නොමැති අතර, එක් එක් වර්ෂයේ මෙවැනි ස්වරූපයේ සංවර්ධන කාර්යයන් සඳහා වෙන් කරනු ලබන මුදල එම වසර තුළම වැය කළ යුතුය.

(ආ) (i) ඔව්.

(ii) රුපියල් මිලියන 1,000ක් පමණ.

(iii) 2015 වර්ෂයේ රුපියල් මිලියන 30 ලබා දුන් මැතිවරණ කෙට්ඨාසවලට වඩා මුදල් ප්‍රතිපාදන ලබා නොදුන් මැතිවරණ කොට්ඨාසවලට ප්‍රමුඛත්වය දීමට සලකා බලනු ලැබේ.
