Hon. S. M. Marikkar,— To ask the Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of local government bodies in Sri Lanka that have developed as China-Sri Lanka Friendship Cities;
(ii) of the relevant cities;
(iii) the benefits received by each of these cities through this scheme, separately; and
(iv) the benefits received by the local government bodies in China from the local government bodies of Sri Lanka under Friendship Cites Project?
(b) If not, why?
