Hon. S. M. Marikkar,— To ask the Minister of Ports and Shipping ,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) whether action will be taken to implement the Port City Project that had been initiated during the previous government;
(ii) if so, whether a fresh feasibility report will be obtained for that;
(iii) whether tenders will be called again for this project; and
(iv) if so, whether the company that had been selected earlier can submit tenders again?
(b) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the benefits that this country can derive from this project?
(ii) of the benefits that the general public will receive through this project constructions; and
(iii) if this project will be implemented, the implementation period of that project?
(c) If not, why?
