Hon. Sunil Handunnetti,— To ask the Minister of Sports,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) whether the Minister of Sports has appointed a Committee under the Chairmanship of Mr. Ravi Algama to investigate acts of fraud and corruption that have occurred in Sri Lanka Cricket under the previous regime;
(ii) if so, the names of the members of the Committee concerned;
(iii) the date on which the Committee was appointed;
(iv) how much was spent to prepare the report of the Committee;
(v) whether the compilation of the report has been completed; if so, the date on which it was completed;
(vi) what serious irregularities, acts of corruption and fraud were identified by the report;
(vii) whether he will table that report;
(viii) if the Committee report has found fault with any persons, what their names are; and
(ix) what disciplinary or legal actions have been taken against them?
(b) If not, why?
