Hon. Lucky Jayawardana,— To ask the Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he is aware of the fact that there are low income families in Udunuwara electorate who did not receive Divineguma allowances on political grounds under the previous government;
(ii) if so, whether speedy action will be taken to provide them those allowances; and
(iii) if so, the date on which it will be done?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) of the number of low income families in Udunuwara electorate who are provided monthly allowances by the Divineguma Development Department;
(ii) the total value of the monthly allowances provided to them;
(iii) whether those allowances have been divided into categories;
(iv) if so, of the manner in which allowances are provided to each party according to the categories;
(v) of the number of families receiving allowances according to the categories, separately;
(vi) whether the allowances provided to the Divineguma recipients have been increased by Good Governance established on 08th January 2015; and
(vii) if so, how the monthly allowances were increased for each party?
(c) Will he table the names and addresses of Divineguma recipient families in Udunuwara Divisional Secretariat Division and the amounts they receive, separately according to the Grama Niladhari Division?
(d) If not, why?
