Hon. Vasudeva Nanayakkara,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether there is a report of the Commission appointed to inquire into the arms smuggle, under the chairmanship of Supreme Court Judge Hon. Shirani Thilakawardena;
(ii) whether that report will be published; and
(iii) if it will be published, the date of publishing?
(b) If not, why?

(අ) (i) ආයුධ ජාවාරම් ගැන විමසා බැලීම සඳහා පරීක්ෂණ කොමිෂන් සභාවක් පත්කර නැත.
ගරු ශිරානි තිලකවර්ධන මැතිතුමියගේ සභාපතිත්වය යටතේ 2000 සිට 2005 දක්වා වූ කාල පරිච්ඡේදය තුළදී ශ්රී ලංකා ආණ්ඩුව විසින් මිලදී ගත් අධිවටිනාකමකින් යුත් ආයුධ, වෙනත් යුද උපකරණ, ද්රව්ය හා සේවාවන් සපයාගනු ලැබීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් අදාළ වන්නා වූ කරුණු පරීක්ෂා කිරීම සඳහා වන පරීක්ෂණ කොමිෂන් සභාවක් 2006.04.24 දින පත්කර ඇත.
එකී පරීක්ෂණ කොමිෂන් සභාව විසින් සිය වාර්තාව හිටපු ජනාධිපතිවරයා වෙත ලබා දීමට දිනයක් හා වෙලාවක් ලබාගෙන ඇති බව ගොනු පරීක්ෂා කිරීමේදී අනාවරණය වන නමුත්, අදාළ අවසන් වාර්තාව කාර්යාලයේ නොමැත.
