Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of Sri Lankans infected with Rabies during the period of five years from the year 2010 to 2014 separately in each year;
(ii) of the amount of money spent by the government during the above five years for undertaking the treatments of Rabies separately in each year; and
(iii) of the said expenditure as a percentage of the total expenditure on health?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether steps have been taken to control Rabies; and
(ii) if so, what those steps are?
(c) If not, why?
