Hon. Sunil Handunnetti,— To ask the Minister of Lands,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) whether the Mahahena/Madigewatta land situated in Nadugala Grama Niladari Division of the Thihagoda Divisional Secretariat Division of Matara District has been acquired by the government;
(ii) if so, the date on which the said acquisition has been done;
(iii) the purpose for which the aforesaid land has been acquired;
(iv) the extent of the land so acquired;
(v) whether compensation regarding the acquisition of the land has been paid to Mr. Jinadasa Kumanayake, the legal owner of the aforesaid land; and
(vi) if not so, the reasons for it?
(b) If not, why?
