Hon. T.B. Ekanayake,— To ask the Minister of Irrigation,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the period of time during which the construction work of the Moragahakanda reservoir will be completed;
(ii) of the date on which the construction work of the Hakwatunawa, Peella dam roads will be commenced as per the proposed plan to provide Mahaweli waters to Yapahuwa and Galgamuwa electorates;
(iii) whether provisions will be allocated for the aforesaid construction works; and
(iv) whether the construction work of the irrigation office that was started in Polpithigama will be expedited?
(b) If not, why?
