Hon. Anura Dissanayaka,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Policy Planning, Economic Affairs, Child, Youth and Cultural Affairs,—

(a) Will he inform this House—

(i) whether the government of Sri Lanka has made any financial aid or aid for projects to the government of Palastine over the last five years;

(ii) if so, the financial value of such aid;

(iii) if any construction project has been assigned to that country, the manner of selection of contractors for that project;

(iv) the objective of making that financial aid or aid for projects; and

(v) whether making an aid to a foreign country as mentioned above, when Sri Lanka has to payback a huge amount of foreign loans, is not a fruitless effort?

(b) If not, why?

(අ) (i) ඔව්.

(ii) ගාසා තීරයේ මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ වෘත්තීය පුහුණු මධ්‍යස්ථානය ස්ථාපිත කිරීම සඳහා ඇමෙරිකන් ඩොලර් මිලියනයක චෙක් පතක් ප්‍රදානය කර ඇත.

(iii) ඉදිකිරීමේ ව්‍යාපෘතියකට එළඹී නැත.

(iv) මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ නමින් වෘත්තීය පුහුණු මධ්‍යස්ථානයක් ගාසා තීරයේ ඇති කිරීම.

(v) මට ලැබෙන වාර්තා අනුව නම් මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ හිටපු ජනාධිපතිතුමාගේ නම ගාසා තීරයේ ඉතාම ජනප්‍රිය නමක්. [බාධා කිරීමක්] ගරු අනුර දිසානායක මන්ත්‍රීතුමනි, ඔබතුමා හිනා වෙන්නේ ඇයි? ගරු මන්ත්‍රීතුමනි, මේවා විතරක් නොවෙයි. විදේශ ණය අරගත්තේ තවත් බර දමන්න නේ. ඒ විදේශ ණයවලින් මාළිගා හදන කොට මෙහෙත් ගිහින් සල්ලි දමන එක පුදුමයක්ද? යාපනයේ තරු හතක මාළිගාවක් තිබෙනවා. පානම හදන්න ගිය මාළිගාවේ කාමර 57ක් තිබුණා.

විශේෂයෙන්ම ප්‍රභූවරුන්ගේ නිවාඩු නිකේතන -VIP නිවාඩු නිකේතන- 3ක් පිහිනුම් තටාක තුනක් සමඟ දැනට හදලා තිබෙනවා. අඩි 100ක් දුර ගියොත් මුහුදට පනින්න පුළුවන්. බණ්ඩාරනායක අනුස්මරණ ජාත්‍යන්තර සම්මන්ත්‍රණ ශාලාවට වඩා විශාල සම්මන්ත්‍රණ ශාලාවක් අරලියගහ මන්දිරයේ හදා ගෙන යනවා. මේවායින් ප්‍රයෝජනයක් ගන්නේ නැත්තේ සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම ඔබතුමන්ලාට, රටේ ජනතාවට බර දමන්නයි. ඔය නාස්තිය නැවැත්වූ නිසා අඩු ගණනේ දැන් සහනයක් දෙන්න හැකි වෙලා තිබෙනවා. මේ ණය මුදල් ගෙවන්නේ කොහොමද කියන එක තව ප්‍රශ්නයක්.
