Hon. Arundika Fernando,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether armament or other items have been purchased for the Sri Lanka Army through the Hicorp International Company, registered in the United States of America;
(ii) if purchases have been made, what they are;
(iii) of the names and addresses of the Owners of this Company;
(iv) whether Tender procedures have been followed when making those purchases;
(v) if not, the names of those responsible with regard to those purchases;
(vi) the course of action to be initiated against them?
(b) If not, why?
