Hon. Arundika Fernando,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) whether weapons or other items have been imported for Sri Lanka Army through British Borneo Defence Company situated in Texas, America;
(ii) if so, the expenditure borne on that in each year, separately?
(b) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the names and addresses of the owners of that company;
(ii) whether there is any connection between those owners and officials of Sri Lanka Army;
(iii) if so, the names of the persons with such a connection;
(iv) of the measures that will be taken in that respect, if such a connection exists with the relevant company?
(c) If not, why?
