Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Defence,—
(a) Will he state whether air-conditioned luxury vehicles have been hired for the duties of the Sri Lanka Air Force at present?
(b) Will he table—
(i) if so, separately, the type of vehicles obtained; and
(ii) separately, on the basis of the aforesaid vehicle types the monthly rental paid for an air-conditioned vehicle?
(c) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the aforesaid vehicles are utilized for normal security duties; and
(ii) if not, whether they are utilized for travelling purposes of the officers?
(d) Will he also state—
(i) the monthly rental paid by the Sri Lanka Air Force for the air-conditioned luxury vehicles that have been hired; and
(ii) separately, of the amount of money paid for the above vehicles in the years 2012 and 2013?
(e) If not, why?

(අ) ශ්රී ලංකා ගුවන් හමුදාව විසින් කුලී පදනම මත ලබා ගත් වායු සමනය කළ වාහන ගුවන් හමුදා රාජකාරි සඳහා යොදා ගැනෙයි. ඒවා සුඛෝපභෝගී වාහන ලෙස සැලකිය නොහැක.
(ආ) (i) ගුවන් හමුදාව විසින් එසේ ලබා ගෙන ඇති සියලුම වාහන "කාර් රථ" පමණක් වේ.
(ii) එම වාහන සඳහා ගෙවන මාසික කුලිය උපරිමය රු. 50,000 කි.
(ඇ) (i) ඔව්.
(ii) මෙම වාහන, චක්රලේඛ අනුව සුදුසුකම් ලබන ගුවන් කොමදෝරු නිලය සහ ඉන් ඉහළ නිලයන් දරන ගුවන් හමුදා නිලධාරින්ගේ ගමන් බිමන් සඳහා ද යොදා ගැනීමට අවසර ඇත.
(ඈ) (i) ඉහත (ආ) ii පරිදි වේ.
(ii) 2012 - රු. මිලියන 132.91 (රුපියල් මිලියන එකසිය තිස්දෙකයි දශම නවයයි එකයි)
2013 - රු. මිලියන 123.59 (රුපියල් මිලියන එකසිය විසිතුනයි දශම පහයි නවයයි)
(ඉ) පැන නොනඟී.
