Hon. (Al-Haj) A.H.M. Azwer,— To ask the Minister of Health,—
(a) Is he aware that —
(i) people living in Ismailpuram village in the Digamadulla Pradeshiya Saba Division face numerous inconveniences due to the lack of proper health care faculties; and
(ii) these people have to go to Ampara and Smmanthurai which are very far away from their village to get urgent health services?
(b) Will he take speedy action to establish at least a rural health centre at Ismailpuram village in order to provide basic health services entertained by most of the villages in the country through such centers?
(c) If not, why?
