Hon. Sujeewa Senasinghe,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) whether teaching History in schools in English medium has been stopped for approximately 1 1/2 years;
(ii) if so, the reasons for that;
(iii) whether the government considers teaching children History as an unimportant matter; and
(iv) if not, the reasons for the inability to teach History in schools in English medium?
(b) If not, why?
