Hon. Anura Dissanayaka,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he state the amount of liquid milk that is required to meet the annual requirement of milk and milk products in Sri Lanka?
(b) Will he also state—
(i) the amount of money that is charged per kilogram of imported milk powder; and
(ii) the aforesaid amount as percentage of the price at which the imported milk powder is sold in the local market?
(c) If not, why?

(අ) ශ්රී ලංකාවේ කිරි හා කිරි ආශ්රිත නිෂ්පාදන වෙනුවෙන් වාර්ෂිකව අවශ්ය වන දියර කිරි ප්රමාණය ලීටර් මිලියන හත්සියඅසූපහකි. (785)
(ආ) (i) ආනයනික කිරි පිටි කිලෝග්රෑම් එකක් සඳහා රුපියල් 135ක මුදලක් බදු වශයෙන් අය කෙරේ.
(ii) ආනයනික කිරි පිටි කිලෝග්රෑම් එකක් සඳහා අය කරනු ලබන බදු ප්රමාණය ආනයනික කිරි පිටි දේශීය වෙළෙඳ පොළේ අළෙවි කරනු ලබන මිලෙන් සියයට 16.67කි.
(ඇ) පැන නොනඟී.
