Hon. Ajith Kumara,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether there are persons in the Eastern Province, who keep weapons in their possession without legal permission;
(ii) whether persons other than those of the Civil Protection Force, the Police or the Three Armed Forces have been permitted to keep weapons in their possession;
(iii) if so, the reasons for it?
(b) If not, why?
