Hon. Anura Dissanayaka,— To ask the Minister of External Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the Sri Lankan Embassy in the United States had transactions with the company named Cranford Johnson Robinson Wood in the years 2010, 2011 and 2012;
(ii) if so, the period during which such transactions have taken place;
(iii) the task or tasks accomplished through such transactions;
(iv) the benefits derived from them;
(v) the value of the payments made for the said transactions;
(vi) the expenditure head under which funds were allocated for this purpose; and
(vii) if agreements have been entered into with that company whether such agreements will be tabled?
(b) If not, why?

(අ) (i) ඔව්, 2010 වසරේදී ගනු දෙනු කර තිබේ.
(ii) 2010 පමණි.
(iii) Cranford Johnson Robinson Wood සමාගමට අනුව, ඔවුහු ශ්රී ලංකාව වෙනුවෙන් මාධ්ය කටයුතු සිදු කර තිබේ.
(iv) Cranford Johnson Robinson Wood සමාගමට අනුව ඔවුහු එක්සත් ජනපදයේ පුවත් පත් සමඟ ශ්රී ලංකාවේ ප්රතිරූපය වැඩි දියුණු කිරීමේ ව්යාපාරයක් දියත් කර තිබේ.
නමුත් ඇත්තවශයෙන්ම කිව්වොත්, මෙවැනි කාර්යභාරයක් කරන්න තානාපති කාර්යාලයේ සුදුසුකම්, පහසුකම් තිබියදී තමයි මේ සමාගමට මේ කටයුත්ත භාර දීලා තිබෙන්නේ.
(v) ශ්රී ලංකා රුපියල් 5,172,750.00 යි. (පණස්එක් ලක්ෂ හැත්තෑදෙදහස් හත්සියපණහක්)
(vi) 112-02-03-1405(04) යන වැය ශිර්ෂය යටතේ.
(vii) ඇමෙරිකා එක්සත් ජනපදයේ වොෂිංටන්හි ශ්රී ලංකා තානාපති කාර්යාලය සමඟ එවැනි කිසිම ගිවිසුමකට එළැඹ නැත.
ගිවිසුමක් අත්සන් නොකර මෙම ගෙවීම කර තිබෙන බව තමයි අපට පෙනෙන්නේ.
(ආ) Cranford Johnson Robinson Wood වෙළෙඳ සමාගම විසින් දූත මණ්ඩලය වෙත යෝජනාවක් යවන ලද අතර, එය පදනම් කර ගෙන අත්තිකාරම් ගෙවීමක් සිදු කර ඇත.
