Hon. Ajith Kumara,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the date on which the ‘Sandasiri Wickremaarachchi one member committee’ was appointed to look into the problems faced by the people in the area owing to the Lunawa Development Project;
(ii) of the date on which the report was submitted;
(iii) of the summary of the report submitted by the aforesaid committee;
(iv) whether there were occasions when requests were made to submit the relevant report to the Parliament; and
(v) of the reasons for not submitting this report to the Parliament up to now?
(b) If not, why?
