Hon. Nalin Bandara Jayamaha, — To ask the Minister of Water Supply and Drainage,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he is aware that the inhabitants of the Kurunegala town have been faced with a severe difficulty in getting their drinking water needs fulfilled;
(ii) if so, whether the measures that could be taken expeditiously to overcome this difficulty have been identified;
(iii) how long it will take to implement those measures; and
(iv) of the water sources that have been identified as usable for supplying drinking water to inhabitants of the Kurunegala town?
(b) If not, why?
