Hon. Karu Jayasuriya,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—

(a) Will  he inform this House—

(i) whether the government is engaged in tapping telephones of the Opposition personalities;

(ii) if so, the telephones of whom are being tapped as of above; and

(iii) the reason for tapping the aforesaid telephones?

(b) If not, why?
