Hon. Sajith Premadasa,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Is he aware that Dahaamuna and Hunnakumbura Primary Schools which belong to Tangalle Educational Zone of Hambantota district and come under the supervision of Angunakolapelassa Divisional Education office, have been closed for 03 years?
(b) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the present condition of the buildings constructed to run those two schools;
(ii) of the current value of the amount spent on constructing those schools; and
(iii) of the authority that will bear the loss, if those school buildings fall in to ruin?
(c) Will he state—
(i) whether he will take measures to use these buildings for some other purpose; and
(ii) whether he will agree to release the buildings and the premises for the use of other institutions, if those buildings are not rehabilitated and used?
(d) If not, why?
