Hon. Anura Dissanayaka,— To ask the Minister of Petroleum Industries,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) whether a newspaper advertisement was published pertaining to the call for interviews held for the recruitment of the Chief Executive of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation for the year 2012;
(ii) whether applications were called pertaining to the recruitment for the aforesaid post;
(iii) if so, of the persons who have submitted applications accordingly; and
(iv) the reasons for not recruiting the persons who were selected, as per the call mentioned above?
(b) Will he also state separately—
(i) the name of the present Managing Director of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation;
(ii) what his qualifications are;
(iii) the date on which he was recruited; and
(iv) what his salary scales are?
(c) If not, why?
